The site was in Tydd St Mary near Wisbech Cambs. The site consisted of 66 dwellings, 11 social and 55 private. The plots were traditional brick and block on strip and piled foundations. I oversaw the roads and drains on phase 3.
The properties ranged from 2 to 4 bed houses and 3 bed bungalows. About 50% of the build I was given an assistant site manager. These plots were given NHBC insurance and also under council building control.
I completed this site and I think was well thought of in the company.

New build of 20 flats in Nelson street Norwich and 15 large holiday flats in Lyng (5 miles west of Norwich). This was building standard brick and block flats for residential and holiday homes. I also was sent to complete a property in whissonsett. Zurich Insurance to properties.
Site Manager at R.G. Carter (Drayton) (2006-01 – 2006-02)
I worked nights mainly on this job as site manager/agent at Norwich Union offices at Colegate in Norwich. I was mainly overseeing air conditioning work; there were other trades at various times. There was a large aspect of security to keep a check on, and fire watch was required.

I worked as site manager/agent at Tesco Blue Boar Lane Sprowston Norwich. This was a fast- track job, which involved an extension to the main building and lots of civil work including total change to car park and roads on site. I was in charge of different areas i.e. customer toilets, café, concessions, etc. This was a trading store, which can bring its own problems to deal with. The job would have up to eighty operatives on site at any one time. This was a ten-million-pound contract.
