Teresia Chege

My name is Teresia Wairimu Chege.I am a diploma holder.I have a diploma in Social Work and Community Development, which I attained from Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology.I am deeply passionate about continuous learning especially in the field of Social Work and media.I love staying update on the latest trends and advancements because it allows me to constantly improve my skills and contribute more effectively.

I have been working as an attaché at the Thika children’s office whereby I was tasked with;

 Receiving and recording cases of child abuse ,neglect ,

exploitation and intervening on behalf of any child who is in need of care and protection. In serious cases I participated in securing new and safe environments for distressed children.

 I have also interviewed parents, guardians and children of families engaged in parental or child custody issues as well as children who have exhibited deviace to their Parents and the community. Additionally I have written and typed court reports and case submissions for such cases.

 I have also participated in resolving disputes and complaints related to cash transfer program meant for vulnerable children and orphans in the society . I have also participated in the nation wide phase out of the old system of ct-ovc program to the new system of the cash transfer of the orphans and vulnerable children (ct-ovc)

I have a diploma in social work and Community Development, which I attained from Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology.
