Tevin Onyango

I am a B Sc. Biochemistry degree holder from the Technical University of Kenya. Currently I have been a volunteer at the Kenya Wildlife Service Forensic Laboratory since 2019. During which i have assisted in the closure of over 400 suspected poaching cases through DNA extraction, PCR amplification and sequencing.

I have also been active in the field sampling collection. Previously in 2020 I was also a COVID-19 analyst at the Institute of Primate Research. I am also computer literate. I have trained several personnel and also been part of several workshops within the country.

I currently volunteer at the Kenya Wildlife Service Forensic Laboratory whereby we do DNA extraction, PCR amplification, Sanger sequencing and also field work.

Previously I was a COVID-19 Analyst at the Institute of Primate Research, to assist in the national COVID-19 trackings.

I was also a porter at the Aga Khan University Hospital through Helkon K Limited
