As a Bachelor of Actuarial Science graduate, I have a strong background in statistics, probability and applied mathematics and have spent the past several years immersing myself in big data and machine learning with a certification from WorldQuant University.
I have experience in data visualisation using Python tools like Plotly-Dash, seaborn and altair as well as Business intelligence tools like PowerBI and developing workflows to compare diverse data sources.I have been working on different automations and deep learning models, specifically LSTM Recurrent Neural Networks. I have also helped create dashboards for the growth teams to better communicate their key metrics.
I perform cohort analyses, create dashboards to inform the Growth and Advisory teams using Plotly-Dash or Altair hosted on streamlit.
I have also contributed to the creation of an anomaly detection model using deep learning to detect fraudulent transactions.
As an investment analyst, I performed due diligence on markets within Uganda and East Africa supplying a profitable spread within the Money markets, Bonds and equities.

BridgesX hopes to provide price stability for Coffee exporters in Uganda and within the region by hedging through a derivative instrument on the platform. My duties have involved market research as well as evaluating the platform for a comfortable user experience. I have also been instrumental in the development of an inclusive planning platform to enable the user to track their costs and potential expenses through the life cycle of the trades.

I got a 2:1 degree after having studied areas including Actuarial mathematics, Actuarial modelling, pensions, economics and financial markets, statistics and data analysis. I also got knowledge in using software packages like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), SPSS, STATA and R programming.
