Volunteer Nurse- Murang’a County Referral Hospital. – Paediatric ward (January 2024- present). 

Responsibilities.

• Performing physical exams and health histories before making critical decisions. 
• Provide health promotion through counselling and health education. 
• Administering medications as per the treatment sheet and other personalized interventions. 
• Co-ordinating care in collaboration with a wide array of health care professionals.

• Assessing nutritional status of children aged 5 years and below at the Child Welfare Clinic. 
• Immunizing children aged 5 years and below as per KEPI guidelines and protocol. 
• Antenatal care; Assessing pregnant mothers, performing physical examination, giving health education and administration of Tetanus Toxoid vaccine.
