Vick Okumu

I am a 32 year old information scientist with an experience spanning more than 7 years in the information management field having served in different capacities which has enabled me to interact with all the facets of information management. Currently I am serving as the business lead-records automation in CIC Insurance group overseeing all the records management operations in the company and acting as the link person between CIC Group and the service provider offering document management and archiving services to CIC Group. I am passionate about information management and I always strive to ensure compliance with records management best practices and standards while handling information.

I have 8 years of experience in managing information. I have worked with two Companies both being in the financial services sector. I have achieved great milestones the key being developing the records and information management policy for CIC Group and automation of all the physical records enabling the company to achieve the dream of becoming paperless.
