Position: Data Remediation Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Remediating bank accounts that do not have the right details required, that is correct identification card details, phone numbers, KRA pin numbers and account holder’s portrait photo.
• Follow up and collect the missing bank account information for updating by calling respective customers to avail their bank account details to the branch.
• Filing bank account opening forms for sending to HQs.
• Identifying inactive accounts for re-activation and for closure if directed by the account’s holder.
• Attending customers at the banking hall for consultation services.

Achievements.

• I was able to identify accounts that need to be corrected that enable the bank to carry out its operations in an efficient way also giving security to accounts
• I was able to bring more customers to the bank through activation of inactive bank accounts.

3. 14th January 2019 to 30th April 2019, An Intern at the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority

Department-Finance 

Position: Accounts Clerk.

Responsibilities:

• Preparations of invoices and posting them for approval.
• Reconciling cash books against bank statements
• Receipting
• Preparations of payment vouchers and posting for approval
• Committing entries, dispatching procurement LPO’s and LSO’s and sending for approval.
• Keeping financial files.
• File movement from the Finance Department to the departments.
• Raising supply requisition form and sent it to the procurement department to provide the required items to the finance department.

• Able to provide an upper hand that provided extra effort and workforce that enabled the Authority to achieve its mandate.
