I am a seasoned finance/ grants and administration Officer with many years’ of experience developing internal controls, budgeting and budgetary implementation and control, preparation of management and statutory reports, Variance analysis reporting, internal and external audit coordination, Grants management, policy formulation and implementation, Partners pre-award assessment and selection, partner capacity assessment and donor relationship management

As the Finance & admin Coordinator of my former Employer, I led a team of 10 qualified and part qualified staff through the installation of new financial systems leading to the re-design and implementation of improved, accessible and informative reporting systems. As part of these changes, I introduced a Procurement Policy that saw the reduction of costs throughout the Organization by 20 percent which was part of my Project while studying for Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands and this ensured financial Management is used as key control ingredient and enabling staff to be measured against targets.
The Job of Senior Administrative Assistant has got many similarities with the Duties I was and Currently Performing. My background together with many years’ of experience in Non-Governmental Organizations including Managing Back-donor funding from USAID, EU, UNHCR, DFID WFP, UNDP, BPRM, AfDB, ICIPE,SDC & Netherlands Government Grants (MFS) and developing Sound Financial systems for the Partners both on my own and with consultants
