Wangari Kuria

I have vast experience working in various roles in operations design, management and leadership, recruiting and building teams and HR planning, and budgeting. I also have extensive experience in education financing for higher/ tertiary education and community building around schools. I have worked in teams across countries and cultures and I have enjoyed working in young teams and young organizations through the process of building organizations and creating systems and structures for teams, processes, and full-on organizations. This includes figuring out the type of registration to go for a different type of organization and building quality check systems for education financing, the construction industry, and agricultural seeds and equipment.

I am interested in working in spaces of education, agriculture and especially regenerative agriculture and land and soil reclamation. Also, organizations that serve people who are excluded. Organizations that are pushing the envelope on issues of equality in terms of race, economic ability, religion, spirituality, gender, sexuality, and physical ability. I am looking to work with and in inclusive spaces or ones fighting for inclusion and equal treatment of all. I have worked in high-level management at the level of a Chief Operations Officer in an organization that was working in two countries in Africa which gave me experience in leading full operations in more than one location. I am available for part-time, work-from-home with travel, contractual and in some cases full-time roles with the flexibility of hybrid working.
