Having worked for a multi-national company, I am fully aware of all government laws related to imports and exports business with a deep understanding of the Kenya Single Window Systems and the ICMS systems.
I have four years of experience handling import and export. I have worked for TNT Express Worldwide (K) Ltd, Hospitality Systems Consultants Ltd, and Sceincescope Limited. I have handled Imports and Exports, IDF application on the Kentrade and ICMS System, Application of LC & preparation of TTs, Preparation of clearance documents, corresponding with suppliers & follow-up on the position of goods to ensure smooth & timely delivery thus preventing stock-outs, Liaise with regulatory bodies and government authorities, government agencies, shipping lines, clearing agents, and customer shipping teams hence avoiding demurrage and storage charges.
Coordinate execution of the Imports/Exports related activities (customs clearance, road & sea international transportation bookings. I also do marine covers insurance to ensure that all goods are covered. I am fully conversant with EAC customs Import & Export procedures, Bonded warehouse procedures.
Diploma in computerized Customs, Clearing, and Forwarding.
