My name is Wycliffe Wakhungu and I am a Risk and Compliance Assistant Manager Carrefour Kenya. I am an accomplished operations officer, risk assessor, crisis manager, HR coordinator, property/facilities coordinator and security investigator, and I enjoy using my skills to contribute to the exciting technological advances that happen every day at Carrefour Kenya. I'm excited to be applying for the Security Officer- Investigator at KETRACO, currently pursuing a business administration degree with more than 6years experience in banking, 2 years of experience in the retail industry, 8 years in Security and 2 years in hospitality, I offer a unique combination of knowledge, expertise and technical skills to help KETRACO achieve its business goals.
In my current role at Carrefour Kenya, I’m responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of sales and customer service operations, management and implementation of growth strategies, inventory and supply budget monitoring including analyzing existing operational models, developing new SOPs to maximize efficiencies and communicating quality standards to cross-functional teams. I established a new reporting structure that streamlined security operations and resulted in a 20% increase in sales.
As a seasoned Assistant Operations Manager, I understand the importance of optimizing business processes without sacrificing personal connections with employees. I thrive on encouraging employee performance and was commended by senior leadership for my ability to ensure adherence to established organizational processes while maintaining a positive and motivating corporate culture.
