I am excellent in the technical aspects of general insurance and have established myself well as a professional in the industry. I am well versed in soft skills of negotiation and customer service which is the crunch of business development.

My goal in the industry is to possess and apply the relevant professional skills to prospect, generate, retain and organically grow business.

I possess over 5 years of experience in Insurance underwriting and banc assurance process. During that time, I have been involved in general business, health and life underwriting. I have also been involved in setting up of service level agreements, handled various claims matters of general business including the setting up of underwriting structures, customer service review meetings with various stakeholders as well as customer experience management through surveys and feedback collection.

I also carry with me two years’ experience in Banc Assurance Sales and relationship. (Central Kenya Region) During my time I have been involved in several tasks key being ;-Delivering good customer service by responding swiftly to quote requests, policy documents requests, and claims. Improving sales and revenue growth of the banc assurance channel, improving the companies brand and visibility by enrolling new units and partners as well as participating in training and marketing campaigns. Conducting intelligence gathering from competitors and formulating strategies to ensure that we are competitively afloat and profitable.

Partner credit control in line with the company’s credit control manual. During my working environment and business dealings I am also keen in adherence of the laid down company’s ethics and code of conduct. I'm also very knowledgeable in general corporate insurance matters including the trends and overall consumer behaviour in the insurance and financial industry.

I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Nairobi. I also hold a diploma in insurance level 1,2 & 3 from the College of Insurance
