After university completion I was enrolled for an internship at the National Museum of Kenya, Museum Hill Nairobi. I was working in the Planning Monitoring and Evaluation (PM&E) department. I was an apprentice to 5 mentors who had different tasks at the department of which I learnt many things vital to my career path which include:

• Assessing and reporting on Performance contracts between the Museum and various parties.
• Developing Work plans for quarterly projects such as new facilities, artefacts • Budgeting, Planning, Monitoring &Evaluation and assessing revenue trends • Data collection and analysis for performance improvement and decision making.
• Creating and reviewing the strategic plan of the organization • How to perform basic audits using checklists and CAR forms with regards to ISO requirements
