Position: Technical Manager

📍 Location: Kuwait / GCC

🏢 Project: Major High-Rise Building Development

🎓 KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering – Mandatory
• 15+ years of relevant experience in building construction
• Proven experience working as a Technical Manager / Senior Technical Manager on large-scale high-rise building projects
• Strong background with Tier-1 / leading international construction companies
• Extensive experience in technical management and multidisciplinary coordination
• Strong knowledge of structural, architectural, MEP, façade and finishing works
• Experience in design coordination, technical submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, method statements and technical approvals
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Consultants, Client, Design Consultants, Subcontractors and internal project teams
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, design compliance and authority requirements
• GCC experience in major building/high-rise projects is highly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills

🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Technical Manager will be responsible for leading the project's technical function, including:

✅ Managing and coordinating all technical and engineering activities

✅ Reviewing architectural, structural and MEP designs

✅ Managing design coordination and resolving technical conflicts

✅ Reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals and RFIs

✅ Providing technical support to construction teams

✅ Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and specialist contractors

✅ Monitoring design development and ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications

✅ Supporting construction planning, methodology and buildability reviews

✅ Managing technical risks and resolving site-related engineering issues

✅ Leading and mentoring the project technical team

✅ Supporting testing, commissioning and project handover activities

⭐ IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will be a Civil Engineering graduate with extensive high-rise construction experience, who has already performed in a Technical Manager / Senior Technical Manager capacity on major high-rise building projects.
