Mobile developer / React Native

Data Quest is seeking a skilled React Native Mobile Developer with around 2 years of experience to join its development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of React Native and a strong background in developing mobile applications. Candidate will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to create high-quality mobile applications with seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Mobile Applications: Design, build, and maintain high-performance React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver user-friendly solutions.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
• Debug and Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve issues and bugs in the applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Stay Up-To-Date: Keep up with the latest trends and advancements in mobile development and React Native to incorporate new techniques and technologies into our projects.
• Testing: Conduct thorough testing of applications, including unit test and integration test, to ensure a high level of quality.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for code, processes, and procedures to facilitate effective collaboration and future maintenance.

Requirements:

• Experience: Approximately 2 years of hands-on experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and React Native, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, and mobile app development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), debugging tools, and testing frameworks.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Added value skills:

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
• Knowledge of native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and libraries.
