Creative and passionate fashion designer with a strong fashion sense. I run my own label “bilal diab” for couture and ready-to- wear clothing making breathable, comfortable and trendy wear for men and women. My experience in the industry over the past 5 years has given me the opportunity to teach young adults and impart my knowledge to my students.
Teaching product technical drawing and fashion illustration in different techniques using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator at IFA (International Fashion Academy ) Turkey’s Campus
Designed and executed the costumes that were used in the “Film Tejari”, this film would be premiered in cinemas and featured in ‘Cannes Festival’. The designs were prepared with mood boards which led to the right costume for the appropriate character
Taught the basics of fashion illustration along with pattern making and free‐hand cutting. Through interesting teaching techniques that engage the students of different ages and abilities I was capable of imparting my drawing, presentation, and technical skills to the students.
In charge of developing lesson plans targeting all students in fashion illustration, preparing mood‐boards and materials to execute a full collection from A to Z.
Responsible for constructing and modifying garments along with fabric selection based on required specifications. In addition, I had the chance to design ready‐to‐wear clothing specifically formal suits and shirts for men.
Through diverse methodologies and subjects in fashion illustration and pattern making, I empowered my students to achieve and develop their creativity while building technical skills in order to reach positive learning outcomes.
