• Conduct standardized tests on food, water in order to ensure compliance with standards and regulations regarding pesticide residues, microbiology and chemistry.
• Examine chemical and biological samples in order to locate bacteria, or extraneous material.
• Provide assistance to food scientists and technologists in research and development and quality control.

• Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment

• Analyze test results to classify products, or compare results with standard tables.
• Use of new machines that are specialized in this field.
• Compute moisture content, percentages of ingredients, formulas, or other product factors, using mathematical and chemical procedures.
• Measure, test, and weigh samples in order to ensure hardness, strength, and dimensions that meet specifications.

Food Science

Engineering A degree focused on understanding food at the molecular level, its nutritional values, coloring, flavor, smell, and more in order to improve upon those values. It provided my personality the skill necessary to understand and affect the production of food, its packaging, processing and distribution. Courses studied within my bachelor degree include but not limited to:
