In my current role, I have had the opportunity to teach mathematics across various grade levels (6-12) and design lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs,
including those in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) program. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to explore mathematical concepts in a hands-on way. By incorporating interactive technologies, such as smartboards and software like GeoGebra, Desmos,
Nearpod, Kahoot, Quizlet and CleverMaths, I ensure that lessons are both accessible and engaging. I am particularly proud of my experience teaching SAT Math preparation, where I successfully helped students achieve their goals by focusing on test-taking strategies and time management.
Adapting to the challenges of online and hybrid learning environments has been an important part of my professional journey. During the transition to remote education, I employed innovative methods to keep students engaged and supported their academic progress through personalized, online lessons. My ability to adjust to different teaching platforms, such as Microsoft Teams and other digital tools, has allowed me to continue delivering high-quality instruction regardless of the learning environment.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have been recognized as a Microsoft Office
Specialist and actively participate in professional development seminars and workshops. My dedication to continuous learning and improvement ensures that I stay up to date with educational technology and teaching methodologies that benefit students.
