Analytics Engineer
Darbo aprašymas
At Netzet, we’re all about creativity, innovation, and big ambitions. Ever wondered what it’s like to spend $1 million a day on digital ads? We’re not there yet, but we’re well on our way.
Who we are
Right now, we’re scaling several of our brands across 50 countries. What makes us different? We don’t just scale businesses—we build them from the ground up. We’ve mastered the art of growing brands quickly and consistently, and we’ve proven it time and time again.
Our biggest win so far? One of the brands we built was acquired by a NASDAQ-listed company. It’s just the beginning of what we’re capable of.
We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to become the owner of our "Single Source of Truth." You will sit between the raw data and the business teams, translating complex data into clean, modeled tables. You will be the primary advocate for our 7 product teams, enabling them to make data-driven decisions through "Team Sandboxes" and official dashboards.
What you’ll do:
- Data Modeling & Transformation: Own our dbt project and build the modeled data layer (marts / star schemas) that defines core business KPIs such as LTV, Churn, and Authorization Rates.
- Data Sources & Ingestion: Own the data flow from source to warehouse — working with teams to integrate new data sources and ensure reliable ingestion and transformation.
- Business Partnership: Work closely with 7 Product Teams and the CFO to understand business questions and translate them into clear data models, metrics, and reporting.
- Visualization Ownership: Manage our BI stack (Power BI / Lightdash). Build "Official Dashboards" and curate "Sandboxes" for self-service analysis.
- Data Quality & Governance: Ensure reliable data through dbt testing, metric definitions, and maintaining a clear data dictionary.
- Self-Service & Enablement: Support colleagues in becoming more data-driven by helping them understand and use data models and dashboards effectively.
What we’re looking for:
- Mastery of SQL: You can write complex, efficient, and readable SQL queries.
- Python Skills: Comfortable using Python for data analysis, transformations, and working with data pipelines.
- Proven dbt Experience: You know how to build modular, tested, and documented dbt models.
- Analytical Mindset: You don’t just move data — you understand business metrics and how to calculate them accurately.
- BI Tool Proficiency: Experience with Power BI, Lightdash, Metabase, or similar web-based BI tools.
- Communication & Ownership: You are a strong communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You are curious, proactive, and comfortable working closely with teams to understand their problems and drive solutions independently.
What to expect:
- You’ll join a small, friendly team where people are open, direct, and easy to work with.
- We keep things practical - no heavy processes or unnecessary layers.
- You’ll work with teammates who know their craft and care about doing things well.
- There’s variety: different products, different challenges, and enough change to keep the work from feeling routine.
- We use solid, modern tools that actually help, not slow you down.
- Team culture matters to us - workations, bike rides, game nights, lunches, and whatever else we decide to do together.
