We’re looking for a Developer to join us at Telia.
I’m Tom Næss, Head of Telia Smart Connect, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team responsible for an award-winning B2B call center solution. We plan, design, develop, support and operate this service that we have launched in all Telia markets.

What you’ll do
You will build and improve reliable backend services, working with modern development practices to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
- Develop and maintain Web/UI and backend services
- Design and optimize data solutions using SQL databases and/or MongoDB
- Build for scale by improving system performance, caching, reliability, and maintainability
- Strengthen application security by identifying vulnerabilities and applying secure coding practices
- Collaborate through Git-based workflows, code reviews, pull requests, and shared engineering standards
- Contribute across the development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
Must have
- Strong experience with PHP and/or Golang
- Experience working with SQL databases and/or MongoDB
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Experience working in collaborative software development teams using Git, including code reviews, pull requests, and team-based development workflows
- Ability to work independently while proactively asking for help when needed
- Experience building high-traffic systems where scalability, caching, and performance optimization are important
- Experience identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with Vue.js
- Good knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with Docker
