Sales Manager – Owntly

We are looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to join Owntly and take full ownership of landlord acquisition. Your mission is to build the supply side of the platform by bringing property owners into a new deposit-free rental model.

About Us:

Owntly is building the financial infrastructure for modern renting.

We replace traditional security deposits with a guarantee system (Owntly Protect), allowing tenants to move in without large upfront costs while ensuring landlords receive full protection and reliable payouts.

Our mission is to make renting more accessible, transparent, and financially efficient across Europe.

About the Role:

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring landlords and real estate partners, explaining the value of the Owntly model, and converting them into active users of the platform.

This is not a passive role, you will directly build the supply side of the business from zero.

Main Responsibilities:

Build and manage the full sales funnel: lead generation, outreach, calls, meetings, negotiations, and closing deals

Actively source landlords via platforms (classified websites, Facebook groups, agencies, personal network, cold outreach).

  • Clearly communicate the value of Owntly for landlords
  • Handle objections and confidently close deals
  • Onboard landlords and launch their properties on the platform
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to improve conversion
  • Track all activity in CRM and manage the pipeline
  • Continuously improve scripts, pitch, and conversion rates

About You:

  • 1+ year of experience in sales, preferably in real estate, marketplaces, or B2B services
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to sell a new concept, not just an existing product
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and rejection
  • High level of ownership and responsibility for results
  • Structured thinking and ability to manage pipeline and metrics
  • Fluent in Lithuanian and English (Russian or Polish is a plus)
