Full-Stack Java / Angular Consultant (H/F/X)

Lux-Advisory is a consulting firm specializing in project management and IT. Our consultants work on high-value projects in international environments.

As part of our development, we are looking for a Full-Stack Java / Angular Consultant.

Mission The consultant will join the IT Financial Applications team and contribute to the modernization and industrialization of financial applications towards a microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements and existing applications
• Design and develop Java / Spring Boot applications and microservices
• Develop frontend applications using Angular
• Design and maintain automated unit and integration tests
• Participate in functional, technical and performance testing
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and release management activities
• Maintain and enhance existing applications
• Produce design documents, test documentation and technical documentation
• Support business users during testing and user acceptance phases
• Participate in change management, risk management and issue resolution
• Use Git in a collaborative software development environment
• Leverage generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or Codex for software development

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of professional Java development experience
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring and Spring Boot, including JPA / Hibernate
• Hands-on experience developing Angular applications using TypeScript / JavaScript and integrating backend APIs
• Experience designing and maintaining automated tests (JUnit, Cucumber or equivalent)
• Strong experience with Git and collaborative development practices: branches, pull requests / merge requests and code reviews
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with XML, YAML and JSON
• Hands-on experience with AI-agent-driven software development using GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or

Codex, including using AI agents to implement or modify application code

• Experience with microservices architectures is an advantage
• Knowledge of Apache Camel, Azure, Docker, Terraform or CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Experience with Agile / Scrum and DevSecOps is an advantage
• Experience in the financial sector is a plus
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Other

• Full-time work
• The Consultant will perform Services 100% offsite. Occasional on-site attendance (approximately 5 working days per year) may be required, subject to prior notice and business needs
