# Full-Stack Java Developer (R&D Engineer)

Our client is a leading provider of financial software solutions in Luxembourg, serving major international financial institutions.

Operating in a stimulating and dynamic environment, the company is investing heavily in R&D and digital transformation to build next-generation platforms supporting fund administration, accounting and investor services.

## The Opportunity

As part of its continued growth, our client is hiring a Full-Stack Java Developer (R&D Engineer) to join a strategic long-term product initiative.

You will contribute to the development of an innovative low-code platform aimed at increasing productivity and accelerating application development. The platform leverages:

• An embedded UI kit
• A unified API layer
• Direct integration with core financial engines
• Modern frontend frameworks aligned with established design systems

This is a highly hands-on full-stack role requiring strong technical expertise and ownership.

A technical test is part of the recruitment process. This role is intended for experienced Full Stack Developers only.

## Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain core features of the low-code platform
• Develop backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot
• Build modern frontend applications using React, Vue or similar technologies
• Design and implement REST APIs
• Collaborate with Product teams to translate user needs into scalable solutions
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable and standards-compliant code
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack
• Take ownership of deliverables from design to deployment

## Required Skills

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Full Stack development
• Strong expertise in Core Java and J2EE technologies (JMS, EJB, JDBC, JPA)
• Solid experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue or Svelte
• Strong understanding of REST API architecture
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Experience writing unit tests using JUnit
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and monitoring tools
• Knowledge of clean code principles and software design patterns

Experience in R&D environments or low-code platforms is a plus.

## Contract Details

• Permanent contract (CDI) with probation period
• Salary up to 80,000 EUR gross per year
• Start date: ASAP
• 1 day per week home office initially, subject to review after probation period
• Candidates must be based in Europe
