Java Developer

The goal of this role is to design, develop, integrate, and maintain high-quality software solutions and applications supporting Payments Baltic VDE regulatory and business initiatives that are prioritized for the task-force.

Responsibility

• Develop new and update existing applications, services, and components according to approved solution designs.
• Implement integrations with internal systems.
• Build and maintain event-driven solutions and workflows.
• Deliver software with high levels of quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in solution design, estimation, and planning activities.
• Support deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and production readiness activities.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
• Collaborate closely with analysts, QA specialists, and Tech Lead.
• Support technical migration, environment setup, and other task-force assignments.

Capability

• Strong Java development experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with:

o Java/Spring Boot o Kafka o Camunda or similar workflow engines o REST APIs o SQL and data modelling o Microservices architecture o CI/CD pipelines

• Git and modern development practices
• Experience with integration-heavy solutions.
• Understanding of security, performance, and reliability requirements.
• Experience working in Agile/Kanban/Scrum environments.
