Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of Mandobk’s products. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to identify issues early, improve testing processes, and help deliver a reliable experience for our merchants.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
- Validate new features against product requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Test APIs and backend functionality when required.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues do not reoccur.
- Help establish and improve QA processes, standards, and documentation.
- Identify edge cases and potential product risks before release.
- Contribute to test automation as the QA function evolves.
- Participate in release testing and provide QA sign-off.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in software quality assurance or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience writing clear test cases and bug reports.
- Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman.
- Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail and a user-focused mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience testing e-commerce, marketplace, or B2B applications.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing.
What You’ll Do at Mandobk
You’ll have ownership of the quality process across Mandobk’s products, working directly with the Product and Engineering teams to make sure every release is stable, reliable, and ready for real-world merchants.
