Comptable Junior

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This position is ideal for a candidate with approximately 1 year of accounting experience who is eager to develop their skills in a dynamic and international environment. The successful candidate will support daily accounting activities, ensure accurate financial records, and assist with month-end close processes.

French fluency and a good working level of English are required, as the role involves interaction with both local and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record supplier & customer invoices, employee expenses, and accounting entries
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management activities
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Prepare and review financial reports and accounting schedules
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and support collection activities
• Assist with VAT declarations and other tax-related filings
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards
• Participate in process improvement initiatives within the Finance department

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Approximately 1 year of professional experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience using ERP systems or accounting software is an advantage
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
