Overview of the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting, deploying, and maintaining cloud environments, ensuring seamless application performance and efficient infrastructure management. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of HCLTech’s digital platforms, enabling the organization to deliver top-tier solutions to its clients worldwide.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Support and manage cloud environments, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
• Deploy and maintain application environments using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and oversee application monitoring and supervision tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond to, investigate, and resolve infrastructure and performance incidents.
• Optimize cloud resources and costs, recommending improvements for efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices in DevOps are followed.
• Document processes, incidents, and resolutions for knowledge sharing and compliance.

Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in DevOps or cloud environment support.
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, containerization, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of application monitoring and incident management.
• Ability to optimize cloud resources and manage costs effectively.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
