Platform Operations Engineer (Infrastructure, Network & Linux)
We are looking for a Platform Operations Engineer to support the day-to-day operations and monitoring of our on-premise infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring system availability through shift-based support and on-call incident response.
Immediate start required.
Role Purpose
Responsible for operating and monitoring infrastructure systems, ensuring stability, performance, and rapid incident resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor infrastructure components during assigned shifts
- Support network, compute, storage, and OS-level operations
- Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting for infrastructure and connectivity issues
- Monitor CPU, memory, disk, IO, and network utilization
- Perform daily infrastructure health checks
- Execute recovery actions based on runbooks (services, nodes, processes)
- Review Linux system logs and infrastructure alerts
- Log incidents and resolutions in the Service Management System
- Escalate unresolved issues with proper evidence
- Participate in maintenance and change activities
Required Skills & Experience
- Linux administration (Red Hat–based systems)
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals
- Experience working in shift-based production environments
- Ability to analyze logs and monitoring data
- Familiar with ITSM processes
