I am a Master’s student in Big Data Analytics at Al Akhawayn University with a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence and Business Administration. I combine data science, machine learning, and data engineering to build practical solutions with real-world impact. My experience includes developing predictive real estate models, deploying AI-powered customer support systems, and designing large-scale data pipelines using technologies such as Python, Kafka, Hadoop, FastAPI, and XGBoost.

Data Science Intern at Orchid Island Real Estate (2025-06 – 2025-08)

Afritec Program

• Scraped ~30,000 property listings (Avito.ma, Mubawab, Sarouty) using Python (Requests, BeautifulSoup).
• Built a full preprocessing pipeline: data cleaning, KNN imputation, Cook's Distance outlier detection, feature engineering, and out-of-fold target encoding.
• Trained and tuned an XGBoost regression model (GridSearchCV, 5-fold CV) achieving R2 = 0.87, MAE = 21,500 MAD, RMSE = 32,400 MAD on the held-out test set.
• Deployed the model as a FastAPI REST API and integrated a real-time price estimation page into the agency's website.
• Built a lightweight LLM customer support chatbot (OpenAI API, GPT-4o mini) with prompt engineering for multilingual interactions (French, English, Arabic).
