Aivhy is looking for a Backend Software Developer with strong Python and SQL experience.

Aivhy helps manufacturing and logistics companies digitalise their operations around the way they actually work. We build practical software solutions that support business processes, operational workflows, data flows, integrations and decision-making.

About the roleAs a Backend Software Developer, you will design, develop, test, implement and support reliable software for business administration and operational systems.

You will work with Python, SQL, databases, APIs, integrations and backend logic. The role is hands-on and technical. You will work closely with developers, architects and consultants to build software that is stable, maintainable and useful in daily operations.

This role is a good fit for someone who understands backend development, structured data, database design and clean software architecture.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test and support backend software
• Build reliable, scalable and production-ready software modules
• Work with Python, SQL and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Develop APIs, integrations and data processing workflows
• Translate business and operational requirements into clear backend logic
• Improve existing software for performance, stability and maintainability
• Work with Linux-based environments and software containers such as Docker or Podman
• Document software and contribute to maintainable, high-quality code
• Apply testing, debugging and clean coding practices
• Work in an agile environment and improve the system based on changing requirements
• Take ownership of individual modules and ensure quality, reliability and performance

What we are looking for

• 3 or more years of experience in a relevant software development role
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Strong backend development experience
• Strong Python experience
• Strong SQL experience
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience building reliable production-ready software
• Experience with APIs, integrations and structured data
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• Experience with software containers such as Docker or Podman
• Strong testing, documentation and clean coding practices
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
