At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional .NET Developer to join our La Valletta, Malta UniQue team

What will you be bringing to the team?

Configure, develop, and implement ICT components, including source code, solution architecture, software components, design patterns, database schemas, and backend systems across cloud and on-premises environments.

Design, prototype, develop, test, and maintain applications for a European Institution, in line with the prioritised backlog agreed between ICT and business stakeholders.

Contribute to the definition and execution of the information systems roadmap by providing technical expertise and recommendations.

Implement automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices to improve development efficiency and deployment reliability.

Develop and implement user interfaces, ensuring high quality look and feel, usability, accessibility, and compliance with functional and UI standards.

Conduct technical and source code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, security, and performance.

Design, implement, test, and maintain integrations with internal and external information systems and platforms.

Support reporting on ICT activities and application lifecycle status, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architecture, operational manuals, version descriptions, release guidelines, and user documentation.

What do you need to succeed in this position?

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field + minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in software development.

Strong experience with .NET 6 or newer, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and Entity Framework.

Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework such as React or Vue.js.

Advanced experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and performing system integrations.

Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, database design, stored procedures, and performance troubleshooting.

Experience with Azure services, including App Services, Blob Storage or Data Lake Gen2, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), Microsoft Graph API, and Azure DevOps.

Experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and PnP tools in enterprise environments.

Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and applying AI models and algorithms in business applications.

Strong understanding of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML, and frameworks such as Bootstrap.

Experience writing unit and integration tests for both front-end and back-end components.

Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar tools.

Experience providing application and website support in production environments.

Good knowledge of English
