Application Engineer

Description

Responsibilities:

• Configure refrigeration systems from an electrical and controls perspective. Design both standard and custom systems, complete engineering calculations and documentation to generate cost summaries for the Sales team, and create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the Supply Chain team.
• Support system selection in collaboration with Product Sales Specialists.
• Apply knowledge of NOM-001-SEDE-2012, electrical installation design, electrical equipment and accessories, and control fundamentals for refrigeration systems.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to Installation Area Managers, Sales Area Managers, and Technical Service Managers by troubleshooting system and product issues, conducting site visits, supervision activities, and field surveys.
• Manage technical relationships with external suppliers regarding specific components for special systems or new requirements for standard systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience as an Application Engineer or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of technical drawing software, data interpretation, and programming.
• AutoCAD 2D (Advanced) and 3D (Intermediate); Revit preferred.
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
