Your Role as a Cloudbees DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer within the DevOps Engineering Services team, you’ll help deliver internal tooling, automation, and release orchestration capabilities that empower hundreds of developers and application teams.

Working in a transversal function, you’ll support the rollout and optimisation of CloudBees Release Orchestration (RO) and CI/CD best practices, ensuring smooth adoption and consistent execution across the organisation. You'll contribute to a mature programme governed by senior engineers, with clear guidance, structured delivery, and high-impact outcomes across enterprise DevOps environments.

What You’ll Do

• Support adoption of CI/CD and RO tooling across internal DevOps teams
• Work closely with Senior Engineers to execute release orchestration onboarding tasks
• Assist in scaling the enterprise adoption of CloudBees RO, Jenkins, CloudBees CI/CD
• Enable best practices for Git workflows, artefact management (Nexus), and code quality (SonarQube)
• Support SAST/DAST integration within secure delivery pipelines
• Provide technical support to internal teams as they adopt enterprise DevOps tooling
• Contribute to IaC and automation efforts using Python and Ansible Automation Platform
• Support containerisation initiatives using Docker and OpenShift/Kubernetes
• Collaborate in an Agile, DevSecOps-driven environment to standardise delivery processes
• Ensure accurate documentation, repeatable execution, and alignment to engineering guidelines

What You Bring

• 4+ years of DevOps engineering experience
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD/RO tooling: CloudBees CD/RO
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Nexus, SonarQube
• Experience with SAST/DAST tools
• Practical development experience in Java/Maven or C++
• Exposure to infrastructure automation using Python and Ansible
• Knowledge of containerisation: Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevSecOps principles
• Excellent English communication skills (client teams are primarily US-based)
• Ability to follow established engineering patterns and execute with precision
• CloudBees RO experience is highly preferred
