Mission

Design, build, and scale Copilot-powered business applications and AI automations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Dataverse) integrated with Azure OpenAI/Azure AI and enterprise data, with strong governance, security, and cost controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Delivery

◦ Build Copilot experiences in Power Apps and Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents) for internal and customer workflows.

◦ Deliver automation using Power Automate with AI steps (document intelligence, classification, summarization).

◦ Implement RAG-style grounding for copilots with Dataverse, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AI Search, and Azure OpenAI embeddings (via connectors/custom connectors).

• Data, Integrations & Connectors

◦ Model data in Dataverse; design tables, relationships, and security roles.

◦ Use standard connectors and build Custom Connectors (OpenAPI/Swagger) to internal REST/Graph/APIM services.

◦ Implement Access Control Lists (ACLs), environment variables, DLP compliance, and environment routing (Dev/Test/Prod).

• Copilot/Chat Orchestration

◦ Create multi-turn chat experiences in Copilot Studio: topics, entity extraction, function calling (skills/tools), handoff to human.

◦ Ground LLM responses using SharePoint/Dataverse knowledge bases; enforce guardrails and content policies.

◦ Design structured outputs (JSON) for downstream workflows.

• Governance, Security & Compliance

◦ Apply Power Platform DLP policies, tenant isolation, and data residency requirements.

◦ Secrets via Azure Key Vault, identities via Managed Identity/Entra ID (AAD), and least-privilege RBAC.

◦ Align with org standards: logging, monitoring, privacy, and Responsible AI (content filters, PII handling).

• ALM/DevOps

◦ Use Solutions, Connection References, and Environment Variables for portable deployments.

◦ CI/CD with Power Platform Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps; versioning of apps, flows, and copilots.

◦ Implement telemetry: Power Platform Admin Center, Application Insights, custom logs, and dashboards.

• Enablement & Documentation

◦ Create playbooks, component libraries, and templates for reuse.

◦ Coach business units/citizen devs; run office hours and code reviews.

◦ Produce runbooks and operational SLAs for support handover.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5+ years building solutions with Power Apps (Canvas/Model‑Driven), Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse.
• Hands-on integration with Azure OpenAI (chat/embeddings) via connectors or custom connectors; familiarity with grounding and prompt patterns.
• Strong grasp of Power Platform governance: DLP policies, environment strategy, solutioning, and ALM.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 data sources (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and Microsoft Graph.
• Ability to design secure apps: Entra ID roles, row-level security, conditional access, private endpoints (via APIs).
• Comfortable with JSON, OpenAPI, basic scripting (Power Fx, JavaScript/TypeScript for PCF or custom connectors).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Semantic Kernel or LangChain knowledge for advanced orchestration (even if primarily low-code).
• Azure AI Search, APIM, Logic Apps, Functions, Key Vault, Service Bus/Event Hubs.
• Power Pages for external portals with authenticated AI experiences.
• PCF controls development; React/TypeScript for richer UI components.
• M365 Copilot extensibility (plugins/connectors), Graph Connectors for content ingestion.
