Qualifications

Programming Languages: Deep proficiency in Python and Scala for data engineering tasks.

Big Data Frameworks: Extensive hands-on experience with the Apache Spark ecosystem (PySpark, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming).

Cloud Infrastructure (GCP): Proven experience operating within Google Cloud Platform, specifically utilizing managed services like BigQuery and Dataproc.

Databases & SQL: Strong knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases, combined with the ability to write advanced, complex SQL queries.

Data Streaming: Experience building pub/sub or streaming architectures with Apache Kafka.

Orchestration: Hands-on experience building and managing Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) in Apache Airflow.

Integration & DevOps: Experience integrating RESTful APIs into data pipelines and utilizing GitLab CI for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
