Data Platform Engineer

At Kin Analytics, we believe the true value of data lies in the stories we tell with it. We build impactful, game-changing solutions that shape the future of business intelligence — and we're looking for an experienced Azure Data Platform Engineer to join our fully remote team.

What you'll do

You'll design, implement, and operate scalable cloud data platforms on Azure from the ground up. This means owning ETL/ELT pipelines, data lake and lakehouse architectures, CI/CD deployments, and infrastructure-as-code — not just maintaining existing systems. You'll work cross-functionally with data science and analytics teams to ensure pipelines are reliable, observable, and continuously improving.

You must have

• 4–6+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or cloud data platforms
• Production-level experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage
• Experience containerizing and deploying services with Docker connected to Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure Storage
• CI/CD pipeline implementation via Azure DevOps
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or Azure Resource Manager
• Strong command of ETL/ELT architecture and data workflow orchestration
• Experience designing secure, scalable data integrations across cloud services

Nice to have

• Python-based data processing
• Spark or distributed processing frameworks
• Delta Lake or data lakehouse technologies

This is not the right role if your Azure experience is limited to infrastructure administration, helpdesk, or Office 365 support. We need engineers who have built and shipped data pipelines in production Azure environments.
