Data Scientist

Duration: 6-month Contract-to-Hire

Location: Remote – Mexico

Schedule: Standard business hours

Must-Haves:

• Strong experience with Angular
• Strong experience with React / React.js
• Solid development background
• Experience building data-driven or analytics-focused applications
• Ability to work remotely in a distributed/offshore model

Plusses:

• Experience working with data visualization or analytics platforms
• Background supporting enterprise-scale applications
• Financial services or insurance industry experience
• Experience working in an offshore/onshore delivery model
• Exposure to modern UI/UX best practices tied to data insights

Day-to-Day:

• Build and support data-driven front-end applications using Angular and React
• Partner with technical and business teams to support new technology initiatives
• Translate data and analytics requirements into usable, scalable interfaces
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices
• Support MetLife’s offshore/onshore delivery strategy and growth goals
