DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes | Remote

Position: DevOps Engineer

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $200K - $300K/yr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to enhance infrastructure reliability and scalability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring processes.
• Optimize system performance and ensure high availability of services.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation and operational standards.
• Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows.

Requirements

• Strong experience in DevOps or related engineering roles.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Proficiency with automation tools including Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
