DevOps Engineer
Descripción del puesto
About Loop8.io
We are an AWS Advanced Tier Partner building real things for real companies. Healthcare, life sciences, and fast-moving SMBs come to us when they need to ship AI products, modernize on AWS, and automate the boring stuff. We do not write strategy decks and disappear. We build, deploy, and stay engaged through launch and beyond.
What You Will Do
You'll own the infrastructure layer of client projects from day one — designing AWS architectures, writing Terraform, building CI/CD pipelines, and shipping production-grade systems that don't break at 2am. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with solutions architects, full-stack engineers, and AI engineers. On some projects, you'll be the only DevOps voice in the room. That's not a warning. That's the role.
What We Look For
You've shipped production AWS infrastructure — real customer traffic, real uptime targets, not lab work.
- AWS certified at Associate level or above. Professional or Specialty certs put you ahead. Not there yet? You're ready to get there within your first few months — we cover it.
- You've got Terraform or CDK in your hands, GitHub Actions or CodePipeline in your pipeline, and ECS, EKS, or Fargate under your belt
- Fluent with AI coding tools that are already part of your daily flow
- You can talk to a client directly — clear, calm, no jargon walls
- You don't wait for a ticket. If something's broken or missing, you fix it or flag it
- You write the runbook before anyone asks
- Strong English. Spanish is a genuine advantage for our LATAM engagements
Bonus Points
- HIPAA, SOC 2, or other compliance work on AWS
- Experience with Bedrock, SageMaker, or other AWS AI services
- Personal or open-source projects you've taken from idea to shipped — and can walk us through
- 4 weeks PTO — and we mean take them
- Fully remote from anywhere in Mexico. Guadalajara preferred for the occasional team meetup
- AWS certification fees and study time covered
- Access to top-tier AI tools paid for (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, whatever helps you ship)
- Real ownership on real projects from week one
- Small team, no bureaucracy, no skip-level approval for good ideas
How to Apply
Send your resume and a short note about something you built recently — what broke and how you fixed it. Skip the cover letter formalities. Include a GitHub link or portfolio if you have one.
