Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled PLC & FANUC Programming Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain automation systems for industrial and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in PLC programming, robotic automation, and system integration, particularly with FANUC robotic systems and industrial control platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
  • Program and configure industrial robots using FANUC robot controllers.
  • Integrate PLC systems with robotic automation, sensors, and actuators.
  • Perform robot teaching, calibration, and path optimization for manufacturing processes.
  • Commission and troubleshoot automated production lines.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers.
  • Diagnose and resolve automation issues during production.
  • Support installation, testing, and startup of automation systems at customer sites.
  • Maintain documentation for PLC programs, robot configurations, and control systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
  • Hands-on experience with FANUC robot programming and integration.
  • Knowledge of PLC platforms such as:
  • Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal
  • Rockwell Automation PLCs using Studio 5000
  • Mitsubishi Electric PLCs
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, or DeviceNet.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and control system diagrams.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with robot simulation tools such as FANUC ROBOGUIDE.
  • Knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems.
  • Experience with vision systems integration.
  • Familiarity with automotive or manufacturing production lines.
  • Experience with robot safety standards and industrial safety systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work under tight project deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
