- *Job Posting: Full Stack Java Developer – Insurance Risk Management Systems
- *About the Role**
You will also play a key role in configuring and deploying public-facing web applications, maintaining a Linux-based malware scanning service that integrates with Microsoft Defender, and supporting modern DevSecOps practices across the environment.
- *Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with client engineering teams in Seattle to support and enhance a custom insurance risk claims and intake system.
- Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot backend services, APIs, and integrations.
- Contribute to front-end development using Angular (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Support and improve a Linux-based file/malware scanning service that wraps Microsoft Defender scanning.
- Perform configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting for public web applications .
- Implement test automation using frameworks such as Playwright, Jasmine, or NGRX.
- Participate in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and infrastructure automation initiatives (Terraform, Ansible).
- Work within a secure environment utilizing Keeper/Vault solutions.
- Develop and maintain Kafka-based messaging solutions.
- Leverage AI-assisted development approaches, including agentic or chat-based coding tools.
- *Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Full Stack Development experience .
- Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot (including Swagger, Auth0, and Postgres).
- Strong Angular (JavaScript/TypeScript) development expertise.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks: Playwright , Jasmine , or NGRX .
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development (Agentic workflows, Chat-based tools).
- Strong experience with Linux , Bash , and observability tools such as ELK .
- CI/CD, DevSecOps, Terraform, and Ansible experience.
- Experience with secrets and credential management (Keeper / Vault).
- Proficiency with Kafka messaging systems.
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate directly with client teams.
