Fullstack Python/React Developer

Job Title: Full Stack Engineer (Python / React)

Location: LATAM (Remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in Python backend development and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js.

This role focuses on building scalable, cloud-native applications on AWS, contributing across the full stack, and collaborating on high-impact product features in a fully remote LATAM environment.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)

Develop and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript with React or Next.js

Integrate frontend and backend systems via REST and GraphQL APIs

Design and support event-driven architectures using AWS messaging services

Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing

Support data processing and ETL workflows using Pandas, Glue, and Athena

Contribute to infrastructure as code using CDK, CloudFormation, or SAM

Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes or ECS

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices

Enhance observability through monitoring, logging, and tracing tools

Required Qualifications

Strong experience with Python for backend development

Experience building APIs with FastAPI, Flask, or Django

Experience with TypeScript and React or Next.js for frontend development

Hands-on experience with pytest (unit, integration, mocking, coverage)

Strong AWS experience across core services (compute, storage, databases, networking, messaging, security)

Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, EFS, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Kinesis

Understanding of AWS networking and security (VPC, subnets, NAT, ALB/NLB, Route 53, CloudFront, IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, WAF)

Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or SAM)

Experience with PostgreSQL (query optimization, indexing, EXPLAIN)

Experience with Docker and containerized environments

Familiarity with Kubernetes or ECS (deployments, autoscaling, health checks)

Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild

Strong Git workflows (trunk-based development, pull requests, branching strategies)

Preferred / Nice to Have

Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, React Query)

Experience with GraphQL

Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog and OpenTelemetry

Exposure to AI/ML integrations (LLM APIs such as Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic)

Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, OpenSearch, pgvector)
