What You’ll Own

• Write clean, functional code on both front- and back-end
• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of scalable, and user friendly applications.
• Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Maintain dependencies and security patches up to date.
• Work on technical debt.
• Write and publish technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Management and QA for backlog prioritization.
• Implement third party services.
• Mentor less experienced team members.

This is a fit for you if…

• 4+ years of experience working with NodeJS
• 2+ years of experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, Jest, Cypress, etc.
• 2+ years of experience working with React and Redux
• Strong experience with design patterns.
• Strong experience working with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience designing software architectures.
• Experience working with microservices architectures.
• Experience leading software development teams.
• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo server.

Our hiring process

First, you’ll have a 30 minute interview with one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists. This is a chance to talk about your expectations, career growth, our culture, benefits and the way we invest in developing our team. The next part is a code challenge and technical interview with one of our senior developers. Lastly, you will meet our client who you would be working with once you join Tango. We expect this process to take no more than 3 weeks.
