Overview

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Import Export Analyst located in Tijuana.

Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Import Export Analyst role involves:

What a typical day looks like

• Interfaces with internal and external customers, foreign order administration, freight forwarders, customs officers and other functional areas to ensure coordination and logistics of shipment.
• Selects carrier/forwarder for shipment of products and prepares documents for freight forwarders.
• Maintain accurate Import/Export Compliance within the site for all inbound international shipments.
• Implement and maintain record-keeping system to comply with U. S. Customs.
• May code international freight invoices for inbound shipments, as well as domestic truck load shipments to individual departments within the site.
• May research short-paid invoices and resolve any related issues.
• Open and closed communication with Program Managers and Program Administrators for order processing.
• Accurate finish good inventory at US-broker.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Intermediate English.
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree.
• May distribute tracking number and/or BOL to Program Administrator and Program Manager and various other departments.
• Notify departments within the site of any non-compliant issues.
• Communicate with Program Administrator and Program Manager departments for support in part clarification.
• Audit Import/Export documents for international shipments cleared through US customs.
• Experience and ability to generate metrics related to Import/Export area.
• Correct of entry documents for entries identified.
