IoT Software Engineer (Python/Linux) at BairesDev In this role, you'll build secure remote access and automated test bench platforms for a fleet of autonomous vehicles, treating each vehicle as a remote Ubuntu server connected via LTE over high-latency and unreliable networks. Working on infrastructure designed to scale from hundreds to 30,000 vehicles, you'll solve challenging problems at the intersection of IoT, security, and distributed systems. What You'll Do
- Build and maintain secure remote access infrastructure for a large fleet of autonomous vehicles.
- Develop scalable networking solutions and role-based authentication systems.
- Automate hardware test benches and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure fast recovery and regression testing across the vehicle fleet.
- Manage OTA updates and deep Linux administration for remote Ubuntu servers.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with IoT fleet management.
- Deep Linux administration knowledge, including OTA updates on Ubuntu.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
