What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and operate scalable backend services that enable other teams to build efficiently on the company’s platform.
• Own small to medium-sized features end-to-end — from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integrations and enhance system interoperability.
• Apply strong debugging and problem-solving skills to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to process and design documentation to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Use

Java and

GraphQL to design APIs for data consumption and production, and to build backend applications powering advertising and data platforms.

• Leverage

Kafka

,

Aerospike

, and

Elasticsearch to build real-time data pipelines that serve as the backbone for critical business operations.

• Ensure superior visibility into the technical and operational health of the platform using

DataDog and

Grafana

.

• Demonstrate solid understanding of database management (SQL)

and core software engineering principles

.

• Participate in and manage on-call rotations to support and troubleshoot production issues during off-hours or peak events.
• Conduct thorough code and technical design reviews to maintain quality and consistency across the engineering organization.
• Apply understanding of e-commerce systems to translate product requirements into efficient and scalable technical solutions.
