We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with experience in POS (Point of Sale) integrations to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain integrations between POS systems and backend services, ensuring reliable transaction processing and seamless communication across retail platforms.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, support POS environments, and contribute to the development of high-quality software in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java-based solutions for POS system integrations
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between POS platforms and backend services
• Work with XML and JSON data formats for transaction processing and system communication
• Build and manage Java applications (JAR/WAR files) using build tools such as Apache Maven
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in POS environments
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable and scalable integrations
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java development
• Experience working with REST API integrations
• Knowledge of XML and JSON data structures
• Experience using Eclipse IDE or similar Java development environments
• Understanding of HTTP protocols
• Experience working with POS systems or retail technology environments
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced development environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic experience with Apache Maven for building Java applications
• Experience with MySQL or MariaDB
• Understanding of POS system architecture and retail transaction workflows
• Familiarity with HTML fundamentals

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 per month
