Job Title: L2/L3 Application Support Engineer (Java, AWS, Splunk, SOA)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

L2/L3 Application Support Engineer with strong experience in production support, Java debugging, AWS Cloud, SOA architecture and Splunk

. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience handling

P1/P2 incidents

, leading bridge calls, and working within

ITIL-based support environments

.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide
L2/L3 production support for enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve

P1/P2 incidents

, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Lead incident bridge calls and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor applications using
Splunk / AWS CloudWatch and proactively identify issues.
  • Debug and analyze
Java-based applications to identify root causes.
  • Support and troubleshoot
SOA-based architectures and REST/SOAP APIs

.

  • Perform

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

and document post-incident reports.
  • Follow

ITIL processes

(Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Work closely with development and infrastructure teams for permanent fixes.
  • Ensure SLA adherence and continuous service improvement.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in

Application/Production Support (L2/L3)

  • Good knowledge of
Java (debugging & code analysis)
  • Hands-on experience with
AWS (EC2, S3, CloudWatch)
  • Experience with
Splunk (log analysis & monitoring)
  • Solid understanding of
SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture)
  • Experience with
REST APIs and/or SOAP web services
  • Knowledge of
ITIL processes and ITSM tools (ServiceNow/JSM/Remedy)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
