L3 Application Support Engineer / Java Developer

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced L3 Application Support Engineers who combine advanced production support expertise with hands-on Java development skills.

You will work on complex production issues and implement code-level fixes and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Debug and modify Java code
• Implement fixes and minor enhancements
• Write and optimize SQL queries
• Work within Linux environments
• Develop automation scripts
• Support deployments and production releases
• Mentor L2 team members when needed

Required Qualifications

• 6-8 years of IT experience
• Strong Java development and debugging skills
• Production support experience
• Strong SQL/database knowledge
• Linux/Unix experience
• Scripting skills (Shell, Bash, Python, or similar)

Nice to Have

• Financial services domain exposure
• CI/CD or DevOps familiarity
• Monitoring and observability tools experience
