We are inviting a Lead Python Developer to guide backend development and strengthen engineering practices on complex, high-impact projects. You will build and evolve FastAPI and Django services, collaborate on scalable architecture, and support coordinated releases with quality in mind—apply now.

Responsibilities

Engineer and maintain backend systems with modern Python technologies

Contribute to designing scalable, reliable system infrastructure

Work with multidisciplinary teams to implement new features and improvements

Resolve technical issues and address performance bottlenecks

Write clean, structured code that adheres to quality guidelines

Attend technical meetings and support project coordination activities

Support deployment efforts and oversee release management tasks

Promote learning and enable knowledge sharing across team members

Requirements

5+ years of practical Python experience, including backend development with FastAPI and Django

At least 1 year of experience leading, mentoring, and supporting development teams

Strong skills in React and TypeScript for developing rich, dynamic UIs

Experience with PostgreSQL for database modeling, design, and management

Proficiency in Docker for container creation and application deployment

Strong focus on automated testing across unit and integration coverage

Experience in agile teams delivering large-scale, mission-critical work

Team-oriented collaboration with consistent participation in code reviews

Ability to work effectively with remote teams across different regions

Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation

Knowledge of S3, Lambda, AWS AKS, and CloudWatch for managing cloud infrastructure

Advanced English proficiency (B2+), written and spoken

Nice to have

Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation and workflow management

Understanding of Jira-to-GitHub integration for improved project governance

Familiarity with DevOps practices that enhance delivery and operations workflows

Experience in financial or Treasury domains, including payments, wire transfers, reconciliations, and cash flow management
